स्थिरो गंगावर्‍त्त: स्तनमुकुळ रोमावलिलता-

कलावालं कुण्डं कुसुमशरतेजोहुतभुज:

रतेर्‍ लीलागारं किमपि तव नाभिर्‍गिरिसुते 

बिलद्वारं सिद्धेर्‍गिरिशनयनानां विजयते

sthiro gaṁgāvar‍tta: stanamukuḻa romāvalilatā-
kalāvālaṁ kuṇḍaṁ kusumaśaratejohutabhuja:
rater‍ līlāgāraṁ kimapi tava nābhir‍girisute 
biladvāraṁ siddher‍giriśanayanānāṁ vijayate

Oh! Devi Parvathy, your naval is a perennial whirlpool of Ganga river. It is the field where the creeper of your fine dark body hair with the two flower buds, your beautiful breasts, is rooted. It is the fire pit of sacrifice for the god of love, Manmadha’s energy. It is the playhouse for Rathi, the consort of Manmadha. In addition to being magnificent in so many ways, your naval is the gateway to the cave where Lord Siva gets fulfillment for all his austerities and meditations.

സ്ഥിരോ ഗംഗാവര്‍ത്ത: സ്തനമുകുള രോമാവലിലതാ-

കലാവാലം കുണ്ഡം കുസുമശരതേജോഹുതഭുജ:

രതേര്‍ ലീലാഗാരം കിമപി തവ നാഭിര്‍ഗിരിസുതേ

ബിലദ്വാരം സിദ്ധേര്‍ഗിരിശ നയനാനാം വിജയതേ

അല്ലയോ പാര്‍വ്വതീ ദേവീ, അവിടുത്തെ നാഭി ഗംഗാനദിയില്‍ സ്ഥിതിചെയ്യുന്ന ഒരിക്കലും നാശമില്ലാത്ത ചുഴിയാണ്. അവിടുത്തെ സ്തനദ്വയങ്ങളാകുന്ന പൂമൊട്ടുകളോടുകൂടിയ രോമാവലിയാകുന്ന വള്ളിച്ചെടിക്ക് വളരുവാനുള്ള തടമാണത്. അത് കാമദേവന് തന്‍റെ തേജാഗ്നി ഹോമിക്കാനുള്ള ഹോമകുണ്ഡമാണ്. രതീദേവിക്കത് കേളീഗൃഹമാണ്. അങ്ങിനെ നാനാവിധത്തില്‍ തേജസ്സാര്‍ന്ന്‍ പരമശിവന്‍റെ കണ്ണുകള്‍ക്ക് സിദ്ധിപ്രദായകമായ ഗുഹാദ്വാരമായി അവിടുത്തെ നാഭി പ്രശോഭിക്കുന്നുവല്ലോ.
