Soundarya Lahari 002

तनीयांसं पांसुं तव चरण पङ्केरुहभवं
विरिञ्चिः संचिन्वन् विरचयति लोकानविकलम्।
वहत्येनं शौरिः कथमपि सहस्रेण शिरसां
हरः संक्षुद्यैनं भजति भसितोद्धूलनविधिम्॥

tanīyāṁsaṁ pāṁsuṁ tava caraṇa paṅkeruhabhavaṃ
viriñciḥ saṁcinvan viracayati lokānavikalam|
vahatyeanaṁ śauriḥ kathamapi sahasreṇa śirasāṁ
haraḥ saṁkṣudyainaṁ bhajati bhasitoddhūlanavidhim||

Lord Brahma takes the dust of your feet to create this universe impeccably without any confusion.  As the divine serpent Adisesha, Lord Vishnu toils incessantly to collect and sustain the seven sub-worlds and the seven super-worlds over his thousand heads. Lord Siva annihilates all these worlds with his fire of rage radiating from his forehead at the ripe time, and wears the ash from that destruction. Oh mother! indeed all the materials required for creation, maintenance and destruction of the universe are emanating from the dust particles of your feet.

തനീയാംസം  പാംസും തവ ചരണ പങ്കേരുഹഭവം

വിരിഞ്ചി: സഞ്ചിന്വന്‍ വിരചയതി ലോകാനവികലം

വഹത്യേനം ശൌരി: കഥമപി സഹസ്രേണ ശിരസാം

ഹര: സംക്ഷുദൈനം ഭജതി ഭസിതോദ്ധൂലനവിധിം

ബ്രഹ്മാവ്‌ അവിടുത്തെ പദകമലങ്ങളിലെ ധൂളീകണങ്ങളെടുത്ത് പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെ യാതൊരു കുറവുകളുമില്ലാതെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. മഹാവിഷ്ണു തന്‍റെ ആയിരം തലകളില്‍  ആ പൊടിയെ സംഭരിച്ചുവച്ച് പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെ താങ്ങി നിര്‍ത്തുന്നു. ശിംശുമാരഭാവത്തില്‍ എഴ് അധോലോകങ്ങളേയും ആദിശേഷ ഭാവത്തില്‍ എഴ് ഊര്‍ദ്ധ്വലോകങ്ങളേയും പണിപ്പെട്ടു സംരക്ഷിക്കുന്നത് ആ ഹരിയാണ്. പരമശിവനാകട്ടെ കാലമാവുമ്പോള്‍ പ്രപഞ്ചത്തെയെല്ലാം നന്നായി പൊടിച്ചു ലലാടാഗ്നിയില്‍ ദഹിപ്പിച്ചു ഭസ്മമാക്കി ദേഹത്തണി യുന്നു. 

സൃഷ്ടിക്കപ്പെടാനുള്ളതും സംരക്ഷിക്കപ്പെടാനുള്ളതും സംഹരിക്കപ്പെടാ നുള്ളതും എല്ലാം അമ്മേ, അവിടുത്തെ പാദധൂളികളില്‍ നിന്നാണല്ലോ ഉദ്ഭൂതമായിക്കൊണ്ടേയിരിക്കുന്നത്.
