हरिस्त्वामाराध्य प्रणतजनसौभाग्यजननीं
पुरा नारी भूत्वा पुररिपुमपि क्षोभमनयत्।
स्मरोऽपि त्वां नत्वा रतिनयनलेह्येन वपुषा
सुनीनामप्यन्तः प्रभवति हि मोहाय सहताम्॥

haristvāmārādhya praṇatajanasaubhāgyajananīṁ
purā nārī bhūtvā puraripumapi kṣobhamanayat|
smaro'pi tvāṁ natvā ratinayanalehyena vapuṣā
sunīnāmapyantaḥ prabhavati hi mohāya sahatām||

Oh mother! You don’t merely bestow upon your devotees all the blessings and virtues they crave for; their physical bodies become extremely attractive as well. When Lord Vishnu propitiated you and obtained the form of an attractive damsel, Mohini, even Lord Siva got enthralled and fell in love with ‘her’.  Just as the result of prostrating before you, Kamadeva, the lord of love, got such a beautiful body that his consort Rathidevi’s devouring eyes are always upon him. Kamadeva became such a formidable force who can sway the minds of even those well established monks and sages who are supposed to have won over the senses. Oh mother! Even the power of attraction between the male and female forms are also your blessings only.

ഹരിസ്ത്വാമാരാധ്യ പ്രണതജനസൌഭാഗ്യജനനീം

പുരാ നാരീ ഭൂത്വാ പുരരിപുമപി ക്ഷോഭമനയത്

സ്മരോfപി ത്വാം നത്വാ രതിനയനലേഹ്യേന വപുഷാ

മുനീനാമപ്യന്ത: പ്രഭവതി ഹി മോഹായ മഹതാം

പ്രണമിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് സകലസൌഭാഗ്യങ്ങളും നല്‍കുന്ന അമ്മേ, അവിടുത്തെ ആരാധിച്ചതിനാല്‍ മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന് അതിമോഹനമായ നാരീരൂപം ലഭിച്ചു. ജിതേന്ദ്രിയനായിരുന്നുവെങ്കിലും ആ മോഹിനീരൂപം കണ്ടു മഹേശ്വരന്‍ പോലും വികാരതരളിതനായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു. കാമദേവനാണെങ്കില്‍ അവിടുത്തെ നമസ്കരിച്ചതിനാല്‍ രതീദേവി തന്‍റെ കണ്ണുകളാല്‍ സദാ ഉഴിയുന്നത്ര വശ്യമായ ദേഹസൌന്ദര്യത്തോടുകൂടിയവനായിത്തീര്‍ന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല  ഇന്ദ്രിയവിജയം നേടിയ മാമുനിമാര്‍ക്കുള്ളില്‍പ്പോലും മോഹം ജനിപ്പിക്കാന്‍ കാമദേവന്‍ സമര്‍ത്ഥനാവുകയും ചെയ്തു. അമ്മേ, അവിടുത്തെ ഉപാസിക്കുന്നവര്‍ക്ക് സകലവിധ ഐശ്വര്യങ്ങള്‍ മാത്രമല്ല വശ്യമോഹനമായ രൂപവും ലഭിക്കുന്നു വല്ലോ. ആണിലും പെണ്ണിലു മുള്ള രതിജന്യമായ മനോവികാരം പോലും അമ്മേ, അവിടുത്തെ പ്രസാദം തന്നെയാകുന്നു.
