श्रुतीनां
मूर्धानो दधति तव यौ शेखरतया
ममाप्येतौ मातः शिरसि दयया धेहि चरणौ।
ययोः पाद्यं पाथः पशुपतिजटाजूटतटिनी
ययोर्लाक्षालक्ष्मीररुणहरिचूडामणिरुचिः॥

śrutīnāṁ mūrdhāno dadhati tava yau śekharatayā
mamāpyetau mātaḥ śirasi dayayā dhehi caraṇau |
yayoḥ pādyaṁ pāthaḥ paśupatijaṭājūṭataṭinī
yayorlākṣālakṣmīraruṇaharicūḍāmaṇiruciḥ ||

yayoḥ pādyaṁ pāthaḥ paśupatijaṭājūṭataṭinī
yayorlākṣālakṣmīraruṇaharicūḍāmaṇiruciḥ ||
Oh! Mother! Upanishads which are the essence of the
Vedas, carry your feet as ornaments for their head. May I also be blessed by
you by compassionately placing your feet on my head. When lord Rudra prostrates before you to appease you in the love fight, your feet are washed by water from
the holy river Ganga. Your feet shine and seen adorning the red lac shade gained by the reflection of the red diamond Choodamani,
from the crown of Lord Mahavishnu as he prostrates before you.

യയോ: പാദ്യം പാഥ: പശുപതിജടാജൂടതടിനീ
യയോര് ലാക്ഷോ ലക്ഷ്മീരരുണ ഹരി ചൂഡാമണിരുചി:
അല്ലയോ മാതാവേ, വേദങ്ങള്ക്ക് കിരീടമായ ഉപനിഷത്തുക്കള് അവിടുത്തെ പാദങ്ങളെ
അവയുടെ ശിരോഭൂഷണമായി അണിയുന്നു. എന്നോടുള്ള കൃപയാല് ആ പാദങ്ങള് എന്റെ ശിരസ്സിലും
വച്ച് എന്നെ അനുഗ്രഹിച്ചാലും. പ്രണയകലഹം തീര്ക്കാനായി അവിടുത്തെ പതി ആ പാദങ്ങളില്
കുമ്പിടുമ്പോള് ഗംഗാജലം അവിടുത്തെ പാദങ്ങളെ അഭിഷേകം ചെയ്യുന്നു. അവിടുത്തെ മുന്നില്
നമസ്കരിക്കുന്ന മഹാവിഷ്ണുവിന്റെ കിരീടത്തിലെ
ചൂഡാമണിയില് നിന്നും പ്രതിഫലിക്കുന്ന അരുണവര്ണ്ണമാണ് അവിടുത്തെ പാദങ്ങളെ
ചെമ്പഞ്ഞിച്ചാറണിയിക്കുന്നത്.
