हिमानीहन्तव्यं हिमगिरिनिवासैकचतुरौ
निशायां निद्राणं निशि चरमभागे च विशदौ।
वरं लक्ष्मीपात्रं श्रियमतिसृजन्तौ समयिनां
सरोजं त्वत्पादौ जननि जयतश्चित्रमिह किम्॥

himānīhantavyaṁ himagirinivāsaikacaturau
niśāyāṁ nidrāṇaṁ niśi caramabhāge ca viśadau |
varaṁ lakṣmīpātraṁ śriyamatisṛjantau samayināṁ
sarojaṁ tvatpādau janani jayataścitramiha kim ||

Oh! Devi, it is of no wonder that your lotus-like feet can easily win over the regular lotus flower although it is the seat of Goddess Lakshmi. They cannot survive the snowy ground and they fold up during the night. But your lotus-feet are always in full bloom, irrespective of whether it is day or night. They bestow unlimited auspiciousness to all devotees who immerse themselves in the Samaya tradition of internally worshiping your lotus feet.

നിശായാം നിദ്രാണം നിശിചരമ ഭാഗേ ച വിശദൌ

വരം ലക്ഷ്മീപാത്രം ശ്രിയമതി സൃജന്തൌ സമയിനാം

സരോജം ത്വത്പാദൌ ജനനി ജയതശ്ചിത്രമിഹ കിം?

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, മഞ്ഞില്‍ നശിക്കുന്നതും രാത്രിയില്‍ കൂമ്പിയടയുന്നതും ലക്ഷ്മീ ദേവിയുടെ ഇരിപ്പിടവുമായ താമരപ്പൂവിനെയപേക്ഷിച്ച് അവിടുത്തെ താമരപ്പാദങ്ങള്‍ ഉല്‍ക്കൃഷ്ടമായി വിജയിക്കുന്നു എന്ന് പറയുന്നതില്‍ അത്ഭുതം എന്താണുള്ളത്? ഹിമവാന്‍റെ പുത്രിയായ അവിടുത്തെ പാദങ്ങള്‍ മഞ്ഞില്‍ നശിക്കാത്ത ഒരേയൊരു താമരയാണ്. അവിടുത്തെ പദകമലങ്ങള്‍ രാത്രിയെന്നോ പകലെന്നോ വ്യത്യാസമില്ലാതെ വിരിഞ്ഞു നില്‍ക്കുന്നു. മാത്രമല്ല ആ പാദങ്ങള്‍ ആന്തരപൂജയില്‍ അഭിരമിക്കുന്ന സമയാചാരികളായ അവിടുത്തെ ഭക്തര്‍ക്ക് വേണ്ടതിലധികം ഐശ്വര്യസമ്പത്തുകള്‍ നല്‍കി അനുഗ്രഹിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്നു.
