Soundarya Lahari 048

अहः सूते सव्यं तव नयनमर्कात्मकतया
त्रियामां वामं ते सृजति रजनीनायकतया।
तृतीया ते दृष्टिर्दरदलितहेमाम्बुजरुचिः
समाधत्ते संध्यां दिवसनिशयोरन्तरचरीम्॥

ahaḥ sūte savyaṁ tava nayanamarkātmakatayā
triyāmāṁ vāmaṁ te sṛjati rajanīnāyakatayā |
tṛtīyā te dṛṣṭirdaradalitahemāmbujaruciḥ
samādhatte saṁdhyāṁ divasaniśayorantaracarīm ||

Oh! Devi! your right eye is verily the Sun which creates the day time and your left eye is in the form of the Moon which creates nights. Your third eye, in the form of a slightly open golden lotus flower creates the twilight times separating the days and the nights. Your third eye is in the form of fire and hence the lotus gets its golden hue.

അഹ: സുതേ സവ്യം തവ നയനമര്‍ക്കാത്മകതയാ

ത്രിയാമാം വാമം തേ സൃജതി രജനീ നായകതയാ

തൃതീയാ തേ ദൃഷ്ടിര്‍ ദരദളിത ഹേമാംബുജ രുചി:

സമാധത്തേ സന്ധ്യാം ദിവസ നിശയോരന്തര ചരീം

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, അവിടുത്തെ വലതു കണ്ണ് സൂര്യാത്മകമാകയാല്‍ അത് പകലിനു കാരണമാകുന്നു. ഇടം കണ്ണ് രാത്രിയുടെ നായകനായ ചന്ദ്രന്‍റെ പ്രഭാവമുള്ളതിനാല്‍ അത് രാത്രിയെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. ചെറുതായി വിടര്‍ന്ന സ്വര്‍ണ്ണത്താമരപ്പൂപോലെയുള്ള അവിടുത്തെ മൂന്നാം തൃക്കണ്ണ്‍ ഇരവു പകലുകള്‍ക്കിടയിലെ സന്ധ്യാകാലത്തെ സൃഷ്ടിക്കുന്നു. അവിടുത്തെ മൂന്നാം തൃക്കണ്ണ്‍ അഗ്നിസ്വരൂപമാകയാല്‍ അതില്‍ നിന്ന് പ്രസരിക്കുന്നത് സുവര്‍ണ്ണഛവിയാണ്.

भ्रुवौ भुग्ने किञ्चिद्भुवनभयभङ्गव्यसनिनि
त्वदीये नेत्राभ्यां मधुकररुचिभ्यां धृतगुणम्।
धनुर्मन्ये सव्येतरकरगृहीतं रतिपतेः
प्रकोष्ठे मुष्टौ च स्थगयति निगुढान्तरमुमे॥

bhruvau bhugne kiñcidbhuvanabhayabhaṅgavyasanini
tvadīye netrābhyāṁ madhukararucibhyāṁ dhṛtaguṇam |
dhanurmanye savyetarakaragṛhītaṁ ratipateḥ
prakoṣṭhe muṣṭau ca sthagayati niguḍhāntaramume ||

Oh! Umadevi, you are always concerned with removing the sorrows of everyone in the world. Your beautiful eyebrows are slightly bent down in the shape of a bow whose string is formed around the two eye balls as bright as bumble bees. In my imagination, it is the bow carried by the cupid in his right hand, its middle portion being covered by his wrist and a tight fist which is in the shape of your nose bridge jutting between the eye brows.

ഭ്രുവൌ ഭുഗ്നേ കിഞ്ചിദ് ഭുവന ഭയഭംഗ വ്യസനിനീ

ത്വദീയേ നേത്രാഭ്യാം മധുകരരുചിഭ്യാം ധൃതഗുണം

ധനുര്‍ മന്യേ സവ്യേതരകര ഗൃഹീതം രതിപതേ:

പ്രകോഷ്ഠേ മുഷ്ടൌ ച സ്ഥഗയതി നിഗൂഢസ്ഥാന്തരമുമേ

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, ഉമേ, ഭുവനത്തിലെ സകലരുടെയും ഭയമില്ലാതാക്കുന്നതില്‍ മുഴുകി വ്യസനിക്കുന്ന അമ്മേ, അവിടുത്തെ പുരികകൊടികള്‍ അല്പം താഴോട്ടു വളഞ്ഞിരിക്കുന്നത് കണ്ടാല്‍ അത് വണ്ടുകളെപ്പോലെ തിളങ്ങുന്ന കണ്ണുകളാല്‍ ഞാണ്‍പൂട്ടിയ വില്ലാണെന്നും കാമദേവന്‍ വലംകൈയാല്‍ ആ വില്ല്  പിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നതായും അതിന്‍റെ മദ്ധ്യഭാഗം അവിടുത്തെ നാസികാ ദണ്ഡരൂപമായ കൈമുട്ടിനാലും മുഷ്ടിയാലും മറയ്ക്കപ്പെട്ടതായും എനിക്ക് തോന്നുന്നു.

लल्लाटं लावण्यद्युतिविमलमाभाति तव यत्
द्वितीयं तन्मन्ये मुकुटघटितं चन्द्रशकलम्।
विपर्यासन्यामादुभयमपि संभूय च मिथः
सुधालेपस्यूतिः परिणमति राकाहिमकरः॥

lallāṭaṁ lāvaṇyadyutivimalamābhāti tava yat
dvitīyaṁ tanmanye mukuṭaghaṭitaṁ candraśakalam |
viparyāsanyāmādubhayamapi saṁbhūya ca mithaḥ
sudhālepasyūtiḥ pariṇamati rākāhimakaraḥ ||

Oh! Devi, seeing your bright and glorious forehead, I wonder if it is not the second half-moon adorning your head as there already sits an inverted half-moon on your crown. Flipping these half-moons upside down and joining them together would form a full moon filled with immortal divine nectar.

ലലാടം ലാവണ്യ ദ്യുതിവിമലമാഭാതി തവ യത്-

ദ്വിതീയം തന്മന്യേ മകുട ഘടിതം ചന്ദ്ര ശകലം

വിപര്യാസ ന്യാസാദുഭയമപി സംഭൂയ ച മിഥ:

സ്സുധാലേപസ്യുതി: പരിണമതി രാകാ ഹിമകര:

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, അവിടുത്തെ പ്രഭാപൂരിതമായ തിരുനെറ്റിത്തടം അര്‍ദ്ധചന്ദ്രാകൃതി പൂണ്ടതും  ലാവണ്യമേറിയതുമാണ്. അത് അവിടുത്തെ ശിരസ്സില്‍ ചാര്‍ത്തിയ രണ്ടാമത്തെ  ചന്ദ്രക്കലയാണോ എന്ന് ഞാന്‍ ശങ്കിക്കുന്നു. അവിടുത്തെ കിരീടത്തിലിരിക്കുന്ന ഊര്‍ദ്ധ്വാഗ്രമായ ചന്ദ്രന്‍റെ പകുതിയും അവിടുത്തെ തിരുനെറ്റിയാകുന്ന അധോമുഖമായ അര്‍ദ്ധചന്ദ്രനേയും തിരിച്ചുവെച്ച് കൂട്ടിച്ചേര്‍ത്തുവച്ചാല്‍  അത് അമൃത  നിഷ്യന്തിയായ  പൂര്‍ണ്ണചന്ദ്രനായി പരിണമിക്കുമല്ലോ.

अरालैः स्वाभाव्यादलिकलभसश्रीभिरलकैः
परीतं ते वक्त्रं परिहसति पङ्केरुहरुचिम्।
दरस्मेरे यस्मिन् दशनरुचिकिञ्जल्करुचिरे
सुगन्धौ माद्यन्ति स्मरदहनचक्षुर्मधुलिहः॥

arālaiḥ svābhāvyādalikalabhasaśrībhiralakaiḥ
parītaṁ te vaktraṁ parihasati paṅkeruharucim |
darasmere yasmin daśanarucikiñjalkarucire
sugandhau mādyanti smaradahanacakṣurmadhulihaḥ ||

Oh! Devi, your naturally curled hair has a sheen like that of a row of bees and it makes your beautiful face so charming that the lotus flower is put to shame. You adorn a slight smile on your lips exposing the rows of pure white teeth and your face radiates a sweet fragrance that mesmerises Lord Siva. Just as a pair of drunken honey bees fluttering around a lovely flower, eyes of the lord Siva, who burnt the cupid, take in your exquisite beauty and get blissfully intoxicated.

അരാളൈസ്സ്വാഭാവ്യാ ദളികളഭസ ശ്രീഭിരളകൈ:

പരീതം തേ വക്ത്രം പരിഹസതി പങ്കേരുഹരുചിം

ദരസ്മേരേ യസ്മിന്‍ ദശനരുചി കിഞ്ജല്ക രുചിരേ

സുഗന്ധൌ മാദ്യന്തി സ്മരദഹന ചക്ഷുര്‍മ്മധുലിഹ:

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, സ്വതവേ ചുരുണ്ടും ചെറുവണ്ടുകളെപ്പോലെ തിളങ്ങി പ്രശോഭിക്കുന്നതുമായ അളകങ്ങള്‍ അവിടുത്തെ മുഖകമലത്തെ കൂടുതല്‍ സുന്ദരമാക്കിയിട്ട് താമരപ്പൂവിന്‍റെ ഭംഗിയെ പരിഹസിക്കുന്നു. നിരയൊത്ത പല്ലുകളുടെ കാന്തിയൊരല്‍പ്പം പുറത്തുകാണിക്കുന്ന വിധത്തില്‍ ചെറുപുഞ്ചിരിതൂകി, സുഗന്ധിയായിരിക്കുന്ന അവിടുത്തെ മുഖാരവിന്ദം കണ്ട് കാമദേവനെ നിഗ്രഹിച്ച പരമശിവന്‍റെ കണ്ണുകളാകുന്ന വണ്ടുകള്‍ പരമാനന്ദത്താല്‍ മത്തുപിടിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നു.

तनोतु क्षेमं नस्तव  वदनसौन्दर्यलहरी-
परीवाहस्रोतः सरणिरिव सीमन्तसरणिः।
वहन्ती सिन्दूरं प्रबलकबरीभारतिमिर-
द्विषां बृन्दैर्बन्दीकृतमिव नवीनार्ककिरणम्॥

tanotu kṣemaṁ nastava  vadanasaundaryalaharī-
parīvāhasrotaḥ saraṇiriva sīmantasaraṇiḥ |
vahantī sindūraṁ prabalakabarībhāratimira-
dviṣāṁ bṛndairbandīkṛtamiva navīnārkakiraṇam ||

Oh mother, your thick dark locks of hair is seen as divided into two parts starting at the center of your forehead. The channel thus formed looks like the pathway for your incomparable beauty to surfeit. This vermilion adorned channel at your forehead is comparable to the rising sun under siege of two strong armies of dark and thick hair on both sides. May the rays emanating from thy vermilion adorning your forehead protect us for ever.

തനോതു ക്ഷേമം നസ്തവവദന സൌന്ദര്യലഹരീ-

പരീവാഹസ്രോത: സ്സരണിരിവ സീമന്ത സരണി:

വഹന്തി സിന്ദൂരം പ്രബലകബരീഭാരതിമിര-

ദ്വിഷാം വൃന്ദൈര്‍ബന്ദീകൃതമിവ നവീനാര്‍ക്കകിരണം 

അല്ലയോ ഭഗവതീ, അവിടുത്തെ നിരതിശയമായ വദനസൌന്ദര്യത്തിനു വഴിഞ്ഞൊഴുകുവാനുള്ള വഴിയെന്നു തോന്നുമാറ് കരുത്തുറ്റ കേശഭാരത്തെ രണ്ടായി പകുത്ത് അതിനു നടുക്ക് പ്രഭയോലുന്ന കുങ്കുമം ചാര്‍ത്തിയിരിക്കുന്നതു കണ്ടാല്‍ ഇരുവശത്തുമുള്ള കറുത്ത മുടിക്കെട്ടുകൊണ്ട് ബലമായി തടവിലാക്കപ്പെട്ട ബാലാര്‍ക്കനാണോ അവിടെയുള്ളത് എന്ന് തോന്നിപ്പോകുന്നു. അരുണസിന്ദൂരത്താല്‍  അലങ്കരിച്ച അവിടുത്തെ സീമന്തരേഖ ഞങ്ങള്‍ക്ക് ക്ഷേമത്തെ പ്രദാനം ചെയ്യട്ടെ.

धुनोतु ध्वान्तं नस्तुलितदलितेन्दीवरवनं
घनस्निग्धश्लक्ष्णं चिकुरनिकुरुम्बं तव शिवे।
यदीयं सौरभ्यं सहजमुपलब्धुं सुमनसो
वसन्त्यस्मिन्मन्ये वलमथनवाटीविटपिनाम्॥

dhunotu dhvāntaṁ nastulitadalitendīvaravanaṁ
ghanasnigdhaślakṣṇaṁ cikuranikurumbaṁ tava śive |
yadīyaṁ saurabhyaṁ sahajamupalabdhuṁ sumanaso
vasantyasminmanye valamathanavāṭīviṭapinām ||

Oh! Devi!, consort of Lord Siva, your beautiful hair is as black as the divine flower of Karinkoovalam. It is dense and soft, with a sheen of its own due to the fragrant oil applied. May Devi’s dark hair destroy the darkness of ignorance in us. When I see the flowers from the garden of Lord Indra adorning your hair, I feel that they reside there ever fresh in order to imbibe the fragrance of your hair.

ധുനോതു ധ്വാന്തം നസ്തുലിത ദലിതേന്ദീവരവനം

ഘനസ്നിഗ്ദ്ധ ശ്ലക്ഷ്ണം ചികുര നികുരുംബം തവ ശിവേ

യദീയം സൌരഭ്യം സഹജമുപലബ്ധും സുമനസോ

വസന്ത്യസ്മിന്‍ മന്യേ വലമഥനവാടീ വിടപിനാം

അല്ലയോ ശിവേ, അവിടുത്തെ കരിങ്കൂവളപ്പൂക്കള്‍ പോലെ കറുത്തിരുണ്ടും ഇടതൂര്‍ന്നു മാര്‍ദ്ദവമാര്‍ന്നും എണ്ണമയത്താല്‍ മിനുസമാര്‍ന്നുമിരിക്കുന്ന ചികുരഭാരം ഞങ്ങളുടെ ഉള്ളിലെ അജ്ഞാനാന്ധകാരത്തെ ഇല്ലാതാക്കട്ടെ. അവിടുത്തെ മുടിയില്‍ ചൂടിയിരിക്കുന്ന ഇന്ദ്രോദ്യാനത്തിലെ പൂക്കള്‍ കണ്ടാല്‍ അവ ആ മുടിക്കെട്ടിലെ സൌരഭ്യം നുകര്‍ന്നു സ്വന്തമാക്കാനാവണം അവിടെ കുടികൊണ്ടിരിക്കുന്നത് എന്നെനിക്ക് തോന്നിപ്പോകുന്നു.

गतैर्माणिक्यत्वं गगनमणिभिः सान्द्रघटितं
किरीटं ते हैमं हिमगिरिसुते कीर्तयति यः।
स नीडेयच्छायाच्छुरणशबलं चन्द्रशकलं
धनुः शौनासीरं किमिति न निबध्नाति धिषणाम्॥

gatairmāṇikyatvaṁ gaganamaṇibhiḥ sāndraghaṭitaṁ
kirīṭaṁ te haimaṁ himagirisute kīrtayati yaḥ |
sa nīḍeyacchāyācchuraṇaśabalaṁ candraśakalaṁ
dhanuḥ śaunāsīraṁ kimiti na nibadhnāti dhiṣaṇām ||

Oh Devi, daughter of Himalaya, your crown is formed by the densely arranged precious jewels of the sky, that are verily the conglomeration of twelve bright suns. A poet who extoll the magnanimity of your crown would certainly imagine and liken the crescent moon adorning it to a rainbow, seeing the bright and multicolored lights emanating from the jewels of your crown.

ഗതൈര്‍ മാണിക്യത്വം ഗഗനമണിഭി: സാന്ദ്രഘടിതം

കിരീടം തേ ഹൈമം ഹിമഗിരിസുതേ കീര്‍ത്തയതി യ:

സ നീഡേയ ച്ഛായാച്ഛുരണ ശബളം ചന്ദ്രശകലം 

ധനു: ശൌനാസീരം കിമിതി ന നിബധ്നാതി ധിഷണാം

അല്ലയോ ഹിമവാന്‍റെ മകളായ ദേവീ, അവിടുത്തെ കിരീടം അലങ്കരിച്ചിരിക്കുന്നത് മാണിക്യഭാവം പ്രാപിച്ച ദ്വാദശസൂര്യന്മാരാകുന്ന ആകാശരത്നങ്ങളാല്‍ ആണ്. ആ ദിവ്യരത്നങ്ങള്‍ സാന്ദ്രമായി യോജിപ്പിച്ചു കൊരുത്തുരുവായ ആ കിരീടത്തെ കീര്‍ത്തിക്കുന്ന കവിവരന്‍ അതില്‍നിന്നും പ്രസരിക്കുന്ന വര്‍ണ്ണശബളവും ജാജ്വല്യമാനവുമായ പ്രഭ കണ്ടാല്‍പ്പിന്നെ ആ കിരീടത്തെ അലങ്കരിക്കുന്ന വര്‍ണ്ണഭാസുരമായ ചന്ദ്രക്കലയെ മഴവില്ലെന്നു ഭാവനയില്‍ കാണാതിരിക്കുമോ?

तवाधारे मूले सह समयया लास्यपरया
नवात्मानं मन्ये नवरसमहाताण्डवनटम्।
उभाभ्यामेताभ्यामुदयविधिमुद्दिश्य दयया
सनाथाभ्यां जज्ञे जनकजननीमज्जगदिदम्॥

tavādhāre mūle saha samayayā lāsyaparayā
navātmānaṁ manye navarasamahātāṇḍavanaṭam |
ubhābhyāmetābhyāmudayavidhimuddiśya dayayā
sanāthābhyāṁ jajñe janakajananīmajjagadidam ||

Oh! Bhagavathi, in your Moolaadhaara Chakra resides Lord Siva who is ever ready to dance in the thandawa style complete with the nine gestures, sringara, included. I meditate upon Lord Mahabhairava residing there along with the power of Samaya, known as Mahabhairavi. She is ready to perform her dance in the lasya style and together they perform the blissful dance of ecstasy combining the thandawa and lasya styles. It is due to this divine union of the two, there is incessant continuity in the regeneration of the Universe. Due to this union, the world has parents, the primordial father and mother. This is the vision one would have when Kundalini reaches the Moolaadhara Chakra. 

തവാധാരേ മൂലേ സഹസമയയാ ലാസ്യപരയാ

നവാത്മാനം മന്യേ നവരസമഹാ താണ്ഡവനടം

ഉഭാഭ്യാമേതാഭ്യാമുദയ വിധിമുദ്ദിശ്യ ദയയാ

സ നാഥാഭ്യാം ജജ്ഞേ ജനകജനനീമത് ജഗദിദം

അല്ലയോ ഭഗവതീ, അവിടുത്തെ മൂലാധാരചക്രത്തില്‍ നര്‍ത്തനോല്‍സുക യായും  ലാസ്യപ്രിയയായും നില്‍ക്കുന്ന സമയശക്തിയായ മഹാ ഭൈരവിയോടൊപ്പം ശൃംഗാരാദി നവരസങ്ങള്‍ സമ്യക്കായി ചേര്‍ത്ത് മഹാതാണ്ഡവമായ ആനന്ദനടനം ചെയ്യുന്ന മഹാഭൈരവനെ ഞാന്‍ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നു. കാരുണ്യപൂര്‍വ്വം പ്രപഞ്ചത്തിന്‍റെ പുന:സൃഷ്ടിക്ക് കാരണമായി ഒന്നിച്ചു കൂടിച്ചേര്‍ന്ന ഈ രണ്ടുപേര്‍ ഉള്ളതിനാല്‍ പ്രപഞ്ചം മാതാപിതാക്കള്‍ ഉള്ളവരായി അറിയപ്പെട്ടു. ഉപാസകന്‍റെ  കുണ്ഡലിനി മൂലാധാരത്തില്‍ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുന്ന ദര്‍ശനമാണിത്.

तटित्वन्तं शक्त्या तिमिरपरिपन्थिस्फुरणया

स्फुरन्नानारत्नाभरणपरिणद्धेन्द्रधनुषम्।

तव शयामं मेघं कमपि मणिपूरैकशरणं

निषेवे वर्षन्तं हरमिहिरतप्तं त्रिभुवनम्॥

taṭitvantaṁ śaktyā timiraparipanthisphuraṇayā

sphurannānāratnābharaṇapariṇaddhendradhanuṣam |

tava śyāmaṁ meghaṁ kamapi maṇipūraikaśaraṇaṁ

niṣeve varṣantaṁ haramihirataptaṁ tribhuvanam ||

Oh! Mother! With Lord Siva’s blessings, some Sadhakas consider the fully effulgent Manipooraka Chakra with the lustre of lightning, the enemy of darkness, bejewelled with an ornamented rainbow as really great. Lord Rudra is the scorcherer of the worlds and at the same time, He is the dark cloud that showers cool rain along with the thunder and lightning upon the universe to rejuvenate it. I meditate upon your consort Lord Siva who is in the form of dark cloud covering the dark Manipooraka Chakra. This is the vision one would have when his Kundalini reaches the Manipooraka Chakra.

തടിത്വന്തം ശക്ത്യാ തിമിര പരിപന്ഥി സ്ഫുരണയാ

സ്ഫുരന്നാനാ രത്നാഭരണ പരിണദ്ധേന്ദ്ര ധനുഷം

തവ ശ്യാമം മേഘം കമപി മണിപൂരൈക ശരണം

നിഷേവ്യേ വര്‍ഷന്തം ഹരമിഹിര തപ്തം ത്രിഭുവനം

അമ്മേ, ഇരുട്ടിന്‍റെ ശത്രുവായ മിന്നല്‍പ്പിണരിന്‍റെ ശക്തിയോടെ പ്രോജ്വലത്തായും   നാനാഭരണാലങ്കൃതമായ മഴവില്ലോടുകൂടിയും ഇരിക്കുന്ന മണിപൂരകചക്രത്തെ ചിലരെങ്കിലും മുഖ്യസ്ഥാനമായി കണക്കാക്കുവാന്‍ ഇടയാക്കുന്നത് അവിടുത്തെ നാഥനായ പരമശിവന്‍ മൂലമല്ലേ? രുദ്രനാല്‍ തപിപ്പിക്കപ്പെടുന്ന മൂന്നു ലോകങ്ങളിലും ഇടിമിന്നലോടുകൂടി കുളുര്‍മഴ പെയ്യിക്കുന്ന കാര്‍മേഘവും ഭഗവാന്‍ തന്നെയാണ്. താമിസ്രമായ മണിപൂരകചക്രത്തിനെ മൂടുന്നതും അവിടെ കുളുര്‍മഴ പെയ്യിക്കുന്നതുമായ കാര്‍മേഘസ്വരൂപിയായ രുദ്രനെ ഞാന്‍ സേവിക്കുന്നു. കുണ്ഡലിനി മണിപൂരകത്തിലെത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ഉപാസകനില്‍ ഉണ്ടാകുന്ന ദര്‍ശനമാണിത്.

तव स्वातिष्ठाने हुतवहमधिष्ठाय निरतं
तमीडे संवर्तं जननी महतीं तां च समयाम्।
यदालोके लोकान् दहति  महति क्रोधकालिते
दयार्द्रा या दृष्टिः  शिशिरमुपचारं रचयति॥

tava svātiṣṭhāne hutavahamadhiṣṭhāya nirataṁ
tamīḍe saṁvartaṁ jananī mahatīṁ tāṁ ca samayām |
yadāloke lokān dahati mahati krodhakālite
dayārdrā yā dṛṣṭiḥ śiśiramupacāraṁ racayati ||

Oh! Mother of the universe! I bow down to the Fire principle situated as the fierce Lord Rudra at the Swaadhishtaana Chakra. I also meditate upon the great Goddess Samaya at the same point. ദയാര്‍ദ്രാ യാ ദൃഷ്ടി: ശിശിരമുപചാരം രചയതി

അമ്മേ, ഭഗവതീ അവിടുത്തെ സ്വാധിഷ്ഠാനചക്രത്തിലെ അഗ്നിതത്വത്തെ അടിസ്ഥാനമാക്കിയ കാലാഗ്നിരുദ്രനെ ഞാന്‍ നമിക്കുന്നു. അവിടെത്തന്നെ കുടികൊള്ളുന്ന മഹത്തായ സമയയെന്ന ചന്ദ്രകലാശക്തിയേയും  ഞാന്‍ ധ്യാനിക്കുന്നു. അതിമഹത്തും രുദ്രഭാവത്തിലുള്ളതുമായ അഗ്നിയുടെ വീക്ഷണം ലോകങ്ങളെ ദഹിപ്പിക്കുമ്പോള്‍ അമ്മയുടെ കരുണാര്‍ദ്രമായ നോട്ടം ലോകങ്ങളെ കുളുര്‍പ്പിക്കുന്നു. അമ്മേ അവിടുത്തെ കടാക്ഷമാണ് കാലാഗ്നിരുദ്രനാല്‍ ദഹിപ്പിക്കപ്പെട്ട ബ്രഹ്മാണ്ഡത്തെ പുനരുജ്ജീവിപ്പിക്കുന്നത്. കുണ്ഡലിനി സ്വാധിഷ്ഠാനചക്രത്തില്‍ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ഉപാസകനില്‍ ഉണ്ടാവുന്ന ദര്‍ശനമാണിത്.

समुन्मीलत्संवित्कमलमकरन्दैकरसिकं
भजे हंसद्वन्द्वं किमपि महतां मानसचरम्।
यदालापादष्टादशगुणितविद्यापरिणतिः
यदादत्ते दोषाद्गुणमखिलमद्भ्यः पय इव॥

samunmīlatsaṁvitkamalamakarandaikarasikaṁ
bhaje haṁsadvandvaṁ kimapi mahatāṁ mānasacaram |
yadālāpāoādaṣṭādaśaguṇitavidyāpariṇatiḥ
yadādatte doṣādguṇamakhilamadbhyaḥ paya iva ||

Oh! Devi, the swan couple who enjoy the blissful nectar from the fully bloomed lotus flower of wisdom at the Anahata Chakra is known to be swimming in the mind’s ocean of enlightened souls. I bow down to these swans who are indeed Shiva and Shakthi. The words uttered by these swans became the eighteen schools of knowledge. This divine couple is capable of accepting pure virtues from an integral mix of virtuous and non-virtuous stuff just as swans are known to drink only the pure milk from a mixture of milk and water.  This is the vision one gets when Kundalini reaches Anahata Chakra.

അല്ലയോ ദേവീ, അനാഹത ചക്രത്തിലെ വിടര്‍ന്നു വികസിച്ച ജ്ഞാന സ്വരൂപമായ സംവിത്കമലത്തില്‍ നിന്നും നിര്‍ഗ്ഗളിക്കുന്ന മധുവുണ്ടു രസിക്കുന്നവരും യോഗീശ്വരന്മാരുടെ മാനസസരസ്സില്‍ വിഹരിക്കുന്നവ രുമായ അനിര്‍വചനീയ പ്രഭാവമുള്ള രണ്ടു ഹംസങ്ങള്‍ ശിവശക്തികള്‍ തന്നെയാണ്. ആ ഹംസമിഥുനങ്ങളെ ഞാന്‍ ഭജിക്കുന്നു. ആ ഹംസങ്ങളുടെ സംഭാഷണങ്ങളാണ് പതിനെട്ട് വിദ്യാരൂപങ്ങളായി പരിണമിച്ചത്. വെള്ളം ചേര്‍ത്ത പാലില്‍ നിന്നും പാലെന്നപോലെ ഗുണദോഷങ്ങള്‍ സമ്മിശ്രമായിരിക്കുന്ന വസ്തുവില്‍ നിന്നും ഈ അരയന്നങ്ങള്‍ സദ്‌ഗുണങ്ങളെ മാത്രം സ്വീകരിക്കുന്നു. കുണ്ഡലിനി അനാഹത ചക്രത്തിലെത്തുമ്പോള്‍ ഉപാസകനുണ്ടാകുന്ന ദര്‍ശനം  ഇങ്ങിനെയത്രേ.

विशुद्धौ ते शुद्धस्फटिकविशदं व्योमजनकं
शिवं सेवे देवीमपि शिवसमानव्यवसिताम्।
ययोः कान्त्या यान्त्याश्शशिकिरणसारूप्यसरणेः
विधूतान्तर्ध्वान्ता विलसति चकोरीव जगती॥

viśuddhau te śuddhasphaṭikaviśadaṁ vyomajanakaṁ
śivaṁ seve devīmapi śivasamānavyavasitām |
yayoḥ kāntyā yāntyāśśaśikiraṇasārūpyasaraṇeḥ
vidhūtāntardhvāntā vilasati cakorīva jagatī ||

Oh Mother! I prostrate before your Vishuddhi Chakra, where the immaculate Lord Paramasiva resides and enlivens the Space principle. Shakthi also resides there with an equally bright effulgence. The light that emanates from the union of Shiva-Shakthi makes the entire world bright without any trace of darkness, ajnaana, the ignorance resulting from the non-apprehension of reality. The world is thus blissfully content like that of the mythical chakora bird, intoxicated with the bright moonlight. When Kundalini reaches the Vishuddhi Chakra, the seeker enjoys the bliss as he is filled with the ultimate wisdom imparted by Shiva and Shakthi.

ശിവം സേവേ ദേവീമപി ശിവ സമാന വ്യവസിതാം

യയോ: കാന്ത്യാ യാന്ത്യാ: ശശികിരണ സാരൂപ്യസരണേ:

വിധൂതാന്തര്‍ ധ്വാന്താ വിലസതി ചകോരീവ ജഗതീ

സ്ഫടികംപോലെ നിര്‍മ്മലവിശുദ്ധിയാര്‍ന്ന പരമശിവനാല്‍ ആകാശ തത്വത്തെ ജനിപ്പിക്കുന്ന അവിടുത്തെ വിശുദ്ധിചക്രത്തെ ഞാനിതാ നമസ്കരിക്കുന്നു. അതുപോലെതന്നെ ദേവിയും ശിവതുല്യമായ ജാജ്വല്യപ്രഭയോടെ അവിടെ വിളങ്ങുന്നുവല്ലോ. ശിവശക്തികളില്‍ നിന്നും നിര്‍ഗ്ഗളിക്കുന്ന പ്രകാശധോരണിയാല്‍ ലോകം മുഴുവനും അജ്ഞാനാന്ധകാരലേശമില്ലാതെയും നിറനിലാവ് പാനം ചെയ്ത ചകോരപ്പക്ഷിയെപ്പോലെ ആനന്ദത്തില്‍ ആറാടിയും നിലകൊള്ളുന്നു. കുണ്ഡലിനി വിശുദ്ധിചക്രത്തില്‍ എത്തുമ്പോള്‍ സാധകനില്‍ ശിവശക്തികളില്‍ നിന്നുമുള്ള  മഹാജ്ഞാനം നിറയുന്നു.
